Vincent Maraval is a co-founder, director and head of acquisitions and sales for Wild Bunch. He founded the company in 1999 as a department of StudioCanal. Mr. Maraval has shown an outstanding ability to identify new directorial talents, and nurturing their careers through numerous accomplishments. Wild Bunch is famous for a unique editorial policy that brought him numerous major awards, including three Golden Palms (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days, Fahrenheit 911, The Son’s Room), two Golden Lions (The Wrestler, The Magdaleine Sisters), one Golden Bear (Spirited Away), three Oscars (Pan’s Labyrinth, Emperor’s Walk, Spirited Away). In his rich career, Maraval has collaborated with numerous talented film authors such as as Michael Winterbottom, Ken Loach, Peter Mullan, Guillermo del Toro, Alexandre Aja, Hayao Miyazaki, Nanny Moretti, Lou Ye, James Gray, Woody Allen, Daren Aronofsky, Zhang Yimou, Emir Kusturica, Jean-Luc Godard, and Wong Kar Wai.
